IT'S A GIRL!!!!

Delia Jean was born at 4:41pm EDT. She is a beautiful little thing with a full head of hair. Due to the 2 1/2 week early arrival she weighed in at 6 lbs 13 oz. But she was 19 and 1/4 inches long. Darcy is glowing and sharing a moment with the healthy little one that she carried around for 9 months and pushed out like a champ.

Cheers to all. And thank you all for your kind wishes, support, advice, and generousity that have helped get us to this point.

So, since there is still no new information (man what are you guys doing!) I have a list of questions:

1.Can we call her DJ like in full house?
2. What doctor did you have?
3. What was the boy's name you had chosen?
4. What is the story behind the name Delia Jean? Tribute to someone?
5. How is everyone feeling/doing today?

Sorry to nag but I thought I was addicted to your blog before. Now I'm constantly checking (even here at school, shhhh) to see pictures of the newest superwoman or more info on how you're doing.

Enjoy your time at the hospital. It's awesome. I wanted to move in for a few weeks. Kisses to all.

I am so pumped we have a little girl! I see great spoiling in her future. Do we have any indications yet of her political leanings?

And seriously, photos please. You guys are like those celebrities that use the media for their own self-promotion when it's convenient then whine about all the attention when they all of a sudden need some privacy. Are you waiting to sell the photos to Takoma Park Weekly or Vanity Fair? How do we really know she exists until we have photographic evidence?

And great catch on the nickname Chrissy.
