We're not going to find out the gender, but that doesn't stop us from engaging in wild speculation.
So what do you think? Post a comment that says "girl" or "boy," and your reason. I'm not asking for preference...just your best wager.
The polls are open now!

It's going to be...
A baby! Maybe a girl....
Or a boy!
(gee, I'm so much help, aren't I?)
I'm guessing a boy ... just cuz the Sawatzki boys historically have fired a few Y chromosomes before they get to the X's.
OK...I'll speak to the history of the paternal side. The father of the baby-to-be comes from a family of 3 boys and 1 girl...in that order. The baby's grandfather came from a family of 3 boys and 2 girls...in that order. Farther back than that...the baby's great-great grandmother came from a family of 3 boys and 2 girls (not in that order). A great-great-great uncle had 3 boys and 2 girls, in that order. Another great-great-great uncle had 2 boys. Another great-great-great uncle had 2 boys and 1 girl, in that order. Let's go farther back...this baby's great-great grandfather was the 7th son of a 7th son (I am not kidding). Let's see...what gender do I think this new baby will be...hmmmm.
Yeah--so I'm guessing GS stands for Grandma Sawatzki????
woo hoo, Shanna!! You got it!
I always thought that you would have a whole brood of Malcolm in the Middle boys...but now I'm thinking a girl, just to be contrary.
As much as I'd like to see an addition to the female to male ratio in the Sawatzki Family...I think that it's going to be a boy. But, I could also see it being a girl just to prove the sawatzki men wrong. lol. That would be pretty cool too...But I think I'm going to put my odds on a boy.
boy, girl....who cares as long as you name it Aloysius.
i vote girl. mainly because you'd both squirm if you had to go buy a bunch of barbies and God has a wicked sense of humor.
